Mildred B. Booram Rector Harper, 96, Frankfort, passed away May 29, 2012 at Wesley Manor Health Center-Frankfort after a brief illness. She was born January 26, 1916 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Frankfort, Indiana for 14 years, moving from Anderson.
Mildred was a 1933 Anderson High School graduate and an Indiana Business College graduate. She retired from Guide Division of General Motors after 27 1/2 years of service. She had worked at the Pearl Harbour Navy Yard during WWII. She was a member of New Horizon United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Salvation Army Auxiliary, was a Pink Lady at Community Hospital, and was an Adult Literacy Tutor.
She is survived by her children, Margaret Loyon Etienne of France and Norma Morrical Jim of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Marco Buescher of Germany, Cynthia Ann Morrical of Chicago, and Julie Marie Morrical of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester & Cora Paschal Booram; 1st husband whom she married September 26, 1940, Gerald W. Rector who passed away July 27, 1995, and 2nd husband whom she married November 25, 2001, Franklin W. Harper who passed away December 14, 2008.
