Millie Booth died November 20th at Wuestoff Hospice House in Rockledge,Fl. She was born January 31, 1923 in New Orleans, La. After attending Sophie Newcomb College,she married James B. Booth also of New Orleans – a marriage that lasted 70 years. They lived and raised their family first in New Orleans, then Lafayette, New York, Atlanta, Macon and back to Atlanta, finally settling in Cocoa Beach for retirement. Millie and Jim were avid golfers and belonged both to Ansley Country Club in Atlanta and Cocoa Beach Country Club. She was active with the women’s golf associations and local garden clubs wherever she lived, and made numerous and dear lifelong friends. Millie and Jim were wonderful parents, grandparents and great grandparents, sharing their love of golf and sailing with their family.
