Mildred A. Kira (nee Fowler) of Florence died Friday September 9, 2016 at Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 91.
Born in Bordentown, Mrs. Kira was a longtime Florence resident. She retired from the J. Chein Co. in Burlington. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and she had a love of cooking and was well known for her stuffed cabbage. She enjoyed assisting her granddaughter with rescuing dogs, particularly pit bulls. She especially enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren.
Wife of the late Thomas Kira, Sr., she is survived by her son, Thomas Kira, Jr., her granddaughter Lindsey Kira, her great grandchildren Gage and Gianna Marmarosa, her friend Elizabeth Bauer and her dog Peanut.
