Mildred A. Burger, age 83, of Salem, died at 9:55 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Greenbriar in Boardman. She was born December 30, 1928 in Salem, the daughter of the late Ted and Anna (Timic) Alek. Mildred was 1946 graduate of Salem High School and before her retirement in 1985, had been a secretary for E.W. Bliss for 35 years. She was a member of the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church. Survivors include her son, Ted (Arlene) Burger of Winchester, VA; a sister, Helen Graybeal of Salem; a brother, Milan Alek of Salem; and two grandchildren, Gregory and Christopher Burger. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
