Mila Jean Cole, 72, of Pendleton, formerly of Erie and Hershey, PA, passed away on January 23, 2014 at the Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN. She was born on November 5, 1941 in Erie, Pennsylvania.
She retired as the Executive Office Manager for the Lt. Governor of PA. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family and was an avid reader. She was a state committee person for the Republican Party in PA. She was a deacon and elder in the Presbyterian Church.
Mila is survived by her children, Laird Tammy Chmielewski Cole of Grove City, PA and Chris John Robison of Pendleton, IN; grandchildren who called her “Nana”, R.J. Robison, Cole Robison and Emma Robison; eleven nieces and nephews who called her “NeNe”; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Gail Sherred, Cindy Jablonski and Arlena Wood. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Mila Walters; father, Frederic Walters; sisters, Mary Alice Kraus and Margaret “Peggy” Banks.
