Mickey Eugene Plaster, 89, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2022.
Mickey was born October 19, 1932, on the family farm near Ferndale, WA, to Jack and Mary (McCabe) Plaster. He was a proud member of the Lummi Nation. He served in the U.S. Army for 5 years and received his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington, went to work for Western Electric, and retired from AT&T. He was an animated storyteller, and enjoyed golfing, traveling, reading, and serving his community by mentoring others for over 52 years; he was an active member of the St. Helena’s Episcopal Church; he was raised to a Master Mason at the Highland Park #1150 of the Ancient, Free, and Accepted Masons, he went on to become a 32nd degree Mason in the Scottish Rite Mason, and during his labors he earned a 50 year service pin for all his work in Masonry.
He is survived by his son Michael Plaster; his daughter, Harriet Seidensticker; his grandchildren, Levi (Beth) Seidensticker, and Amanda Grace (Robert) Pool; his great-granddaughter Dylan Grace Seidensticker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and their children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings: Stanley, Vincent, Rachelle, Maurice, Charles, Leila, Jerry, and Donna; his wife of 37 years, Grace “Missy” Estelle Hastings; his daughter-in-law Patty Hanson Plaster; and his son-in-law Rubin Seidensticker.
