Mickel DeOndre Jackson was born on May 13, 1981. He departed this earthly life on one great-niece, and a host of great-aunts, uncles and cousins, one devoted, Danykia C. Perine of Smyrna, Ga.; three devoted friends, John (Chrissy) Hunt Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Calvin Pritchett Jr. and Melissa (Mark) Frowner, both of Walker Springs.
Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018, and transitioned to his heavenly home. He was 37 years of age. Preceding him in death were his grandmothers, Dorothy M. Jackson and Mary Pritchett and grandfathers, Clifton Moore Sr. and LT Fox. Mickel was a member of the Jackson High School Class of 1999.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two children, Taylor Martin and Tobias Crayton; godchild, Kelsey Pritchett of Gainestown; a loving and devoted mother, Karen (Terry) Pope of Grove Hill; a loving and devoted father, Eddie (Cynthia) Pritchett of Walker Springs; two loving and devoted sisters, Keila (Derrick) Johnson and Cierra Pritchett, both of Walker Springs; two step-siblings, Tevin Pope of Hinesville, Ga., and Brianna Pope of Livingston; 13 uncles, Amos (Alice) Jackson, Larry (god-mother Emily) Jackson and Derric (Sheila) Jackson, all of Gainestown, Anthony (Cassandra) Jackson of Jackson, Calvin (Imogene) Jackson of Mobile, Alonzo Jackson of Montgomery, Clifton (Ulander) Moore of Choctaw Bluff, Anthony (Tina) Moore of Bad Nauheim Germany, Eric (Lenora) Moore of Gosport, Darryle (Vicki) Moore of Toddtown, Robert James (Lucinda) Pritchett of Walker Springs, Bobby (Dorthea) Pritchett and Charles Pritchett, Flint, Mich.; 22 aunts, Frankie Jackson of Jackson, Alfreda (Kenny) Caffie of Mobile, Sandra J.
