Michele Renee Terry, 64, of Centralia passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Born Michele Malan on September 17, 1953, in Centralia, daughter of Rolla and Rose Marie (Hake) Malan.
She married Dr. Mark Terry on April 26, 1975, in Centralia, and he survives. In addition to her husband of 42 years, she is also survived by two children: Christen Michele Terry of Chicago, and Matthew Monroe Terry and wife Jenni of Wood River, Ill.; two grandchildren: Carolyn Rose Terry and Timothy Monroe Terry, also of Wood River; and a brother, Michael David Malan, of North Carolina.
She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Evelyn “Tiny” Terry of Centralia; sister-in-law Cindi Fulton of Centralia; brother-in-law Dr. Brian (Cheryl) Terry of LaGrange, Ga.; nieces Lindsay (Brian) Shaw and Sarah (Chance) Atteberry, and nephew Greg Terry. Other survivors include aunts Gwynn Malan and Nina (Gene) Walburn; and uncle Gordon (Marilyn) Malan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolla and Rose Marie Malan.
