Michele is survived by her husband, Joseph; her three beloved children, Joey, Nicholas and Anna; her sister, Judi; and her mother, Anna. Michele was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey D. Pepin, on April 11, 2011 and her father, Roland V. Pepin, on October 13, 2011.

Michele touched many people’s lives and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Her family would especially like to thank Sister Rita Johnson for her continuing spiritual support and care, Dr. Anca Bulgaru for doing what was humanly possible to help Michele in her cancer battle, the ECHO and Backus A2 nurses and staff who worked so hard to care for Michele, and the Center for Hospice Care Southeast Connecticut who gave such comfort in Michele’s last weeks at home.
