I’m Gone!!! I, Michael Ray (Wolvy) Wolverton left on May 29, 2015, at 10:19 P.M. I was born March 14, 1958, to Margret “Maggie” and Wayne “Hammer” Wolverton in Des Moines, Iowa. I was the seventh of eight children and always the favorite! I attended Saydel schools, I received my degree in 1976, where I excelled in ALL sports; wrestling, football, baseball, boxing and horseplay and was a standout student. In 1977, I started as a laborer for Local 67, crafting my skills working to become an iron worker. In 1987 after a small accident, I changed my career to animal health care, WHERE I WAS AWESOME! All the dogs and cats loved my gentle care, the last 14 years at Village Animal Care. I worked as an animal care specialist until recently, when I encountered a non scheduled fight with cancer. Being a strong Irish man, I put up a hell of a battle going deep into the 15th round, getting a few good shots in, I lasted longer than I was supposed to, but eventually losing the fight! So I’m going to see my mom and my dad, and my older brothers John, Patrick, and my twin sisters Shannon and Sharon.
I want to say good bye to my best buddies, Brain, Fag, Handsom Harley, Sammy, Queer, and Whitey.
