Michael Wayne Jones, Sr., age 42, of Redby, Minnesota journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 from the Red Lake IHS Hospital in Red Lake, MN. He was born on August 7th, 1977 in Red Lake, MN the son of Elizabeth “Betty” Jones and Paul Stillday.
Michael was a true family man, spending all his time with his family, especially his children. He also took care of his mother, Betty, for the past 13 years as her personal care attendant. Michael enjoyed cruising around and listening to music with his friends. He liked going to the casino, working on cars, being outdoors and checking out Facebook. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is reunited with his father, Paul Stillday; brothers, Robin and Randall Jones; sisters, Paulette and Paula Jones; maternal grandparents, Pauline and Theodore Jones; paternal grandparents, Mary Jane and Robert Stillday, several aunts, uncles and cousins, a niece and a nephew.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Betty Jones, his 10 children, Shaun, Ernest and Sheree Cloud, Layla, Michael Jr., Luke, Jose and Latesha Jones and Lakiesha and Marissa Smith; brothers, Joel and Paul Jones; sister, Darilyn Jones, nine grandchildren and his special friend, Sheila Jones; uncles, Rodney Stillday, Sr. and Richard “Dickie” Jones; aunts, Vicki Juarez, Marilyn Jones and Mary Jones-Berg; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
