Monson- Michael W. Lord, 57, passed away suddenly, Sunday April 24, 2022. Mike was born in Chicopee, MA November 12, 1964 to the late Kenneth C. and Eileen S. (Bissel) Lord. He was a graduate of Putnam High School in Springfield, Valedictorian Class of 1982 and has lived in Monson for many years. Mike was a machinist for CNC Specialties in Monson and most recently was a waste water operator at Suez Wastewater in Springfield. Mike coached the Palmer Cowboy youth football teams and was also a coach for the Monson Tri-Town youth baseball teams. He loved fishing and was passionate about football, especially the NY Jets. He was devoted to his family, he enjoyed family vacations and camping trips. Mike was a true and loyal friend to many.
Mike leaves his loving wife, Diane M. (Braman) Lord and their children, Bradley M. Lord of Monson and Alexis M. Allard of Worcester; granddaughter, Hannah L Allard his “Bubbles”; a brother, Kenneth J. Lord and his partner,Sandra Martin of Hardwick and his mother in-law Natalie LeBlanc of Monson.
