He graduated from Algona High School. Michael had worked as a brush control specialist for B&W Control Specialists. He enjoyed stock car racing, helping people, restoring antiques, collecting old money and spending time with his friends.
Michael is survived by his father, Earl; two brothers, Kevin Jordan and Mark Jordan of Algona; and a sister, Julie Evans and her husband Dennis of Runnels. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia in 2005; a sister, Christy Hanson; and a brother, Allan Jordan.
