Michael Thomas Martin was born on April 18, 1981, to Gloria Esquivel in Big Spring, Texas. He grew up and went to High School in Big Springs until they moved to Hobbs, New Mexico. Michael passed on April 17, 2023, in Hobbs, New Mexico at the youthful age of 41.
Michael loved his career as an iron worker. Some of his hobbies included cooking, baking, watching football, especially his San Francesco 49ers! He also collected shoes, hats, and clothes. Michael had a big heart, he loved to help others.
Michael is proceeded in death by his grandma Golla Losoya, uncle Raymond Losoya, brother Billy Martin and his nephew Jalin Deberry. He is survived by his parents Gloria and Preston McKee of Hobbs, New Mexico. He has five children, three daughters, Kaydence of Tennessee, Sierra of Texas, and Hailey of Texas, two sons Trey of Texas and Mason of Tennessee. Michael is survived by one granddaughter Ava of Texas, seven siblings including four brothers, Arthur Longoria (Cory) of Midland, Texas, Jesse Martin (Angie) of Big Spring, Texas, Toby Martin of Texas and Jacob McKee of Blum, Texas. Three sisters Virginia Longoria of Hampton, Virginia, Keagan Sanderson (Kyle) of Blum, Texas, and Taylor Acosta (Billy) of Big Spring, Texas. Uncle Ruben Esquivel of Dallas, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews, who love him very much.
