Mr. Phillips was born December 3, 1974, in Alabama to Charles Ray Phillips and Essie Hagermaker Phillips Hodges. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael loved his family–especially spending time with his children. He enjoyed collecting old money and drawing, but most of the time if you asked what he was doing he replied “Pushing Dirt” (with a dozer).
He is survived by his son, Charles Phillips; daughter, Makayla Phillips; brother, Hester Hodges; and five sisters, Laurie Terry, Tina Terry, Sherry Grissom, Tara Terry, and Shannon Smith.
