Michael R. Bookout, 55, of Pueblo, CO passed away peacefully on Dec. 2, 2020, surrounded by his family. Mike was born May 23, 1965 in Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray L. Bookout and Anita D. Mendoza and uncle, Mikey Mendoza. Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory; his wife of 39 years, Angela Bookout; daughter, Annamarie Vigil; son, Johnathen Vigil; his little princess grand-daughter, Kyra Jay Bookout; brother, Gary (Antonette) Bookout; sister, Paula Burris; niece, Samantha Bookout; nephews, Jacob (BillieJean) Bookout, Jeremy “Bubba” Bookout; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Michael graduated from Central High School in 1983, he will forever be a Wildcat. Michael loved his family, boating, fishing, and was known for his famous BBQ. He loved his sports, especially his Denver Broncos. He had a huge heart, was everyone’s friend and “go-to” for advice. He welcomed everyone into his home, and would give you his shirt off his back. He was there for the tough times and the good times. He was loved and appreciated by everyone.
