Michael R. “Mike” Boles, 54, of Peru, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at his home. Mr. Boles was born May 30, 1964, in Permisian, Germany to William “Bill” and Martha (Trower) Boles.
He married Rebecca L. Bethard on December 12, 2015, in Oglesby. Mr. Boles had worked as a limousine driver in the suburbs for over 20 years. He was involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 25 years. In addition to scouting, he also enjoyed camping, making latch hook rugs, and collecting wolf artifacts. He is survived by his wife; two children, Adam (fiancée, Maci Morgan) Boles of Peru and Amanda Boles of Morris; two step-children, Ashley (Angelo) Cerasani and Hannah (Carlos) Carcamo both of Peru; four grandchildren, Malachi, Isaiah, and Brooklyn Carter and Cristian Carcamo and one more on the way, due July 4th; his father of Dixon; one brother, Jamie (Rachel) Boles; five sisters, Tammy Dotson, Heide Boles, Michelle Phelan, Billie Jean Mastrodonato and Ashley (Justin) Stroh and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his father-in-law, Robert Bethard, and three brothers-in-law, Mike Mastrodonato, Ronald Bethard, and Donald Viland.
