It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Slavin announces his recent unexpected passing in New Orleans, La. Michael was born in Madison, N.J. in 1955 to the late Harry and Agnes Slavin of Toms River where he grew up and lived most of his life. Michael is survived by two older brothers, Paul (wife, Diane), of Pacifica, Ca., and Christopher (wife Judi), of Pine Beach and two older sisters, Anne Capece (husband Vic) of Bowie, Md. and Mary Padden of Odenton, Md.
Michael was predeceased by Mary’s husband John Padden. Michael is also survived and fondly remembered by his niece Julie and his nephews (Andrew, Stephen, Brian, Matt, Chris, Dan and Shane) as well as a host of chums, pals and friends. As one lifelong friend of Michael’s has said, “There isn’t a person who met this man who doesn’t remember him.
