Michael Nevitt Kokoska died on June 11, 2022, leaving a legacy of love and integrity. Mike was born in Charlotte, NC on November 2, 1941 to Michael George and Mary Kendrick Kokoska. He graduated from North Carolina State University, where he played on the tennis team and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
Mike was a true gentleman with an unwavering moral compass and had a lifelong thirst for knowledge in a variety of fields. He was an avid golfer, forever in search of that elusive perfect swing, and served on the Harbor Club MGA board as Treasurer for many years.
Mike is survived by his adored wife of 52 years, Jane Hamrick Kokoska. He was predeceased by his daughter, Perryn Michelle Kokoska. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Peter Michael Kokoska, daughter-in-law, Diane Kokoska, and grandchildren Bryan Bettiol, Shannon Bettiol and Michaela Kokoska, all of Atlanta GA. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Edward Hamrick (Dianne) as well as many relatives and friends.
