Michael N. Truhan, 43, of Newington passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Backus Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT; he was the beloved son of Margaret (Lashenka) Wagner and the late Michael A. Truhan. Mike was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, New Britain. He graduated from Newington High School, CCSU and received his double Master’s Degree from the University of Hartford. Mike was a Financial Analyst employed by The Hartford. He was an avid pool player and referee; and a member of the American Pool Players Association. Also, he was a member of the Italian Fraternal Club, Kensington. He is survived by his son Zachary Truhan and his mother Lori Dobkins of Newington; his mother, Margaret (Lashenka) Wagner and her husband Kenneth of Kensington; his brother Christopher Truhan and his wife Anne Marie of Barre, VT; his step-sister Susan Fisette and her husband Eric of Kensington. In addition, he is survived by his aunt, uncle, cousins, niece, and nephew and will be missed by his many good friends.
