Michael A. “Bear” Morkunas, 45, died Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital, Niles, Michigan.
Michael was born February 21, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois to Mykolas and Ona Zina (Laskausas) Morkunas. He served as a paramedic in Chicago and in the Harbor Country area. Michael was involved with his family’s business. He loved people, nature, animals and cars.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Blazis Morkunas, and by his father.He is survived by his mother, Zina Morkunas, and his fiancé Ellen Edwards.
