Michael Charles Miller, 35, beloved son, brother and friend, left us for Heaven on December 4th, 2010. He will arrive there-loud as his Harley and grinning ear-to-ear-with a lifetime of happy stories echoing in his wake.
A free spirit, a biker, a Naval Petty Officer and a devoted brother, uncle and son, Michael was all of these things but never let labels define him. He battled schizophrenia with his passion for life and people. He gave you acceptance and love, wrapped in a leather jacket and tats. With an unspoken strength, Michael fought against his demons and brought laughter, joy and loving memories to everyone who embraced him.
Michael is survived by his mother, Linda Grady, and his father Charles Miller; his sister, Trisha Miller Ekenberg, brother-in-law Travis Ekenberg, beloved nephew Ethan Ekenberg; stepfather Michael Grady; and grandparents Robert Miller and Charles and Teddi Lindberg.
Godspeed, Michael. You will live in our hearts, and left a legacy of memories for us to rejoice in. You are free of pain now. And Heaven just got a whole lot more fun.
