Michael “Mike” Starr, 66, peacefully passed away at his home in Boise.
Mike was born on March 24, 1949 in Boise to David and Irene Starr. When Mike was 5 months old his father David died and his mother remarried to Ira Evans who was a great father image for Mike. He attended Meridian High School and he served in the US Army in the Korean War. Mike eventually settled in Boise where he purchased a home and worked as a long haul truck driver most of his life.
Mike is survived by one brother: David Starr; two half-sisters: Iretta Griffith and Judy Larson; and a close nephew: Troy Larson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Pam Gibson.
