Michael “Mike” Stephen Evans, age 71, of Marianna, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his home.
Mike was born on December 12, 1950 in Greenville, Mississippi to the late Buford Evans, Sr. and Alma Morrison Evans and grew up in Vicksburg, MS. In his youth, he enjoyed playing sports, which followed him all through life, golf turning out to be his favorite.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Bowers.
Mike is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen Evans; sons, Christopher Evans and wife, Misty, of Redding, California, Kyle Evans and wife, Heather, of Sneads, Fl; brother, Buford B. Evans, Jr. of Vicksburg, MS; as well as grandchildren, Layla Evans, Gracie Evans, Lane Poythress, Kelsey Repasky and Brendan Repasky, and many special friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
