Michael “Mike” Gallucci, age 81, of Telford, passed away on May 19, 2022, at his residence. He was the loving husband of the late Linda E. (Hauser) Gallucci with whom they had 41 years of marriage. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was a son of the late Nicola and Fannie (Faroulo) Gallucci.
He graduated from Evander Childs High School, class of 1958 in the Bronx, NY. After High School, Michael proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Michael had several jobs after his time in the service. Michael worked at Continental Can where he met his wife, Linda. He worked as a landscaper in Connecticut before getting a job at Kimberly Clark paper company in new Milford, CT where he raised his family and lived for over 25 years. He worked at Kimberly Clark for over 20 years before taking an early retirement and moving to Pennsylvania. Michael got a job at Sears hardware in Quakertown for 10 years where he got to know a lot of the community.
Michael was a very caring person with a great sense of humor that loved to give back to his community.
Michael loved to garden and took great pride in his lawn. He also loved sports including baseball, basketball and football. The Brooklyn Dodgers were his first favorite baseball team and then switched to the New York Mets. He loved the New York Giants and the New York Knicks. He also enjoyed cooking (he was known for his Chili) and listening to music. Frank Sinatra was one of his favorites. Michael loved to watch old westerns, the hallmark movie channel and plenty of old shows including Bonanza, Perry Mason and Murder, She Wrote. Michael was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus for St. Isidore for over 20 years. In his younger years Michael liked to make candles with his wife who would paint them. Michael loved to decorate the outside of his house for the holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. Michael also loved to collect coins and had an impressive coin collection.
Surviving are his children, Michael Christopher Gallucci of Quakertown, PA and Michelle C. Hopkins (John), grandson, Ethan Michael Hopkins all of Fall River, MA and sister Rose Marie Higgins of New Rochelle, NY, many nieces and nephews and his dog/grand dog Beauty. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Jane Vitale and Catherine Gallucci.
