Michael “Mike” Barby, 82, resident of Urrico Ave. North Smithfield, RI.
Died on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, peacefully at his residence.
Loving husband of Yvette (Douyea) Barby.
He was born September 5, 1923, in Woonsocket, RI
Son of the late Wasyl and Paraska (Pryzak) Barby.
He was a meat cutter for the Wilson & Co. in Providence for 30 years retiring in 1976. He also was a store manager for Tessier Hardware in Pawtucket from 1976 until 1990. A North Smithfield resident for the last 53 years. He was a WW11 Army Veteran serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Leclair-Kozlik VFW Post in Slatersville. He and his wife were married for 55 years. He was an avid golfer.
