Michael “Mickey” Smith, 51, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at MercyOne Hospice in Johnston, IA, of a massive stroke.
Mickey was born April 2, 1970, in Knoxville, IA, to Mike and Liz (Loyd) Smith. She attended Ruby Van Meter in Des Moines.
Mickey worked in retail for Target & Hy-Vee Drug Town for 17 years. She took pride in her jobs, and looked forward to meeting new people. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed long shopping trips with her mom.
Mickey was very kind and generous to everyone she met.
Mickey is survived by her parents; and Brother, Sean Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
