Michael M. Teitler, 64, of Severn, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on December 29, 2021. He grew up in Baltimore County and graduated from Milford Mill High School 1974. He then went on to attend University of Maryland and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting in 1978. Mike worked with the MVA and most recently The Jacobs Company for many years. A wine connoisseur, he and his wife enjoyed traveling to different vineyards, including Napa Valley. He loved to cook, especially without recipes and was an avid gardener. He enjoyed his daily walks around the neighborhood with his two dogs. He was especially happy to host the Annual Teitler Crab Feasts to get together with family and friends.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Kathy; loving children, Matt Teitler (Nicki) and Rachel Teitler (Zac Calvert); cherished granddaughters, Brynlee and Ashlyn; dear brother-in-law, Robert Leibowitz; and caring nephew and niece, Marc Leibowitz and Susan Aaronson and their families.
