Michael Moore Slifka, 61, of Fountain Hill died at home on January 6, 2022. He was born in Manhattan, New York, on August 31, 1960 to the late Michael and Virginia (Moore) Slifka. He attended schools in Brooklyn, NY, and Bethlehem. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Bethlehem, where he helped with light maintenance.
He is survived by a niece S. Rose Horn of New York City and a nephew Robin Bowman of Athens, OH; cousins: John (Patricia) Slifka, Jacqueline (Charles) Schneider, Jay (Nadine) Slifka and Margaret Jacoby all of Bethlehem; Ray (Myra) Sumrall of FL; Betty Hicks of Liberal, KS; Shirley Folsom of Salina, KS; Linda Cinquegrano of Somerset, MA; James Cinquegrano of Warwick, RI. He was predeceased by a sister: Monica Mary (Slifka) Horn who died January 18, 2000.
