Michael M. Scire,86, of Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Saturday May 2, 2015 at Hampton Ridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Toms River, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived there until moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ in 1991. Michael worked as a machinist for the New York Transit Authority in NY. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Michael was involved in the Holiday City Berkeley Fishing and Social Club, Italian American Club, Variety Club and Bowling Club. Michael was predeceased by his loving wife Linda in 2008.
Surviving are his three sons Michael Scire and his wife Sheila of Brooklyn, NY, Robert Scire and his wife Nancy of Clinton, NJ and Steven Scire and his girlfriend Samantha Connor of Brooklyn, NY; his three brothers Bart Scire of RI, Nicholas Scire of FL and Charles Scire and his wife Bennita of NJ; his seven grandchildren Kerry Anne, Kaitlyn, Michael, Ashley, Robert, Stephen and Branden; his great grandson Brian Patrick; many loving nieces and nephews; his companion Karen Kennedy and her two daughters Dawn and her husband Howard and Tammy and her husband Tom.
