Mr. Michael Lee Wilcoxen, of Indianapolis, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Franciscan Health South. He was born November 18, 1952 in Beech Grove, Indiana, a son of the late Lee A. Wilcoxen and Joann (Baker) Wilcoxen.
Mike attended Emmerich Manual High School and worked several years for Jones and Laughlin Steel Company. He had a passion for music and had a varied taste but especially enjoyed music from the 1980’s. Mike dearly loved his wife, Debbie, and cherished the time they spent together especially sitting on their porch with their dog, Shadow.
Mike is survived by his mother, Joann Wilcoxen; his brothers, Mark (Kimberly) Wilcoxen and Tim (Kathy) Wilcoxen; his nephew, Ryan Wilcoxen; his nieces, Ashley Wilcoxen and Kayla Saunders; his great-nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Johnson as well as his dog, Shadow.
Mike was joined in Heaven by his wife, Debbie Wilcoxen, on March 15, 2019, the following morning after his homegoing and was preceded in passing by his son, Michael Lee Wilcoxen, Jr.
