Michael Lee Trueblood, 62, Anderson, died October 20, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis unexpectedly.
He was born December 22, 1947 in Anderson and was a lifelong resident. He served with the US Army as a combat engineer during the Vietnam War. Michael was a millwright at Fisher Guide, retiring after 36 years of service. His memberships included the Amvets, VFW #266, and U.A.W. Local #663. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married December 23, 1972, Peggy Trueblood; daughters, Kelly Beeler of Lafayette, IN and Kimberly Trueblood of Loveland, CO; sister, Brenda Trueblood; father, Robert Trueblood; aunt, Rachel Pat Likens; cousins, Randy, Audrey and Cody Tappan; niece, Laura Pitts; nephew, Andy Pitts; two grandchildren, Alaina & Ethan Beeler; and many special friends. The family would like to give special thanks to St. John’s Critical Care, emergency services and St. Vincent’s Critical Care Units.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgeann Bishop Trueblood; and sisters, Rachel Pitts and Cynthia Trueblood.
