Michael Lee Simons, age 20, of W. Main Street, Grafton, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Morgantown, WV, February 27, 1990, a son of the late Linda “Shelly” (Martin) Simons. His father, Jamie Jed Simons and his wife Rosemary (Dalton) Simons, survive, of Grafton. Michael attended Grafton High School. He was a member of the New Testament Fellowship Church where he played drums and guitar in the band. He enjoyed cooking, swimming, drawing and hunting. In addition to his father he is survived by: his maternal grandparents, Larry and Elsie Martin, of Grafton; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Ida Simons, of Marquess, WV; one sister, Michelle Lynn Simons, of Bridgeport; one brother Stephen Joshua Simons, of Grafton; two step brothers, Michael Frances Stout and wife Joy, of Lewisville, OH, and John Kenneth Stout and wife Kathy, of Salem, WV; one step sister, Nichole Lynn England and husband Emerson, of Belington, WV three uncles, Roger Simons, George Simons, and Tim Simons; four aunts, Cheryleda Streets, Gloria Newlon, Linda Edwards, and Margaret Teagarden; and his girlfriend Melissa Wilson, of Grafton.
