Mr. Michael Lee “Mike” Pruitt, age 65, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020 in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on May 20th, 1954 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Bob and Faith Pruitt.
Mr. Pruitt is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pruitt; children, Kristi Pruitt, Mandy Pruitt, Nikki Bracey, and Bryan McCormick; grandchildren, Chasity McCormick, Miranda McCormick, Maddison McCormick, Maegan Bracey, Allyson Bracey, and Sarah Bracey; great grandchildren, Makaylin Stringfellow, D. J. McCormick, and Alleyna McCormick; sister, Bobbie (Donny) Holley; brother, Mark (Beth) Pruitt; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Phillip Griffin.
Mr. Pruitt was a member of West End Baptist Church in Valley. He enjoyed playing his guitars and telling jokes. He loved life, music, helping others, his family, and his church.
