Michael Lawrence Miller Sr.Age 57 of Corunna passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sparrow Health Systems.Funeral Services will be held at 11am Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Nelson-House Funeral Homes, Owosso Chapel with Pastor Jason Steele and Vicki Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at West Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2pm to 8pm.Michael was born September 10, 1960 in Detroit, the son of Lawrence Edward Miller and Phyllis (George) McLean-Gitari.Michael was a board member of the Shiawassee County Pheasants Forever, and a member of Michigan Gun Owners. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved mopars; especially his old Dodge trucks.He married Shelly Walser on January 21, 2000.Michael worked in lawn care and snow removal and most recently was employed with Midwest Bus Rebuilders.Michael is survived by his wife Shelly; children Lindsey (Marco), Michael Jr. and Carol; two grandchildren Emma and Abby; mother Phyllis (George) Gitari; brothers Jim (Buffy) Miller and Dan Miller; nephew Jimmy Miller and Jenna; in-laws Richard and Elsie Walser, Vicki (Dan) Bryant, Jeanie (Jerry) May, Nathan Walser and Cat; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his father Lawrence; brother Paul; grandparents; two step-children Benjamin and Randie.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
