Michael L. Follen, 56, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michael was born on May 22, 1965 in Marshfield, WI to Thomas and Sallie (Schumacher) Follen. He grew up in Marshfield before relocating to Wisconsin Rapids as a teenager, graduating from Lincoln High School. He worked for Kohler and Kerry Ingredients.
Michael served his country as a proud member of the United States Marine Corps for 4 years.
Mike loved spending time with his family and friends, his dog Ellie and his grand-dog Khloe. He was not a man of many words, but when he did talk, it was usually to try and make people laugh. He was a practical joker with a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help people and was someone you could always rely on. Mike enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, riding his bike, rock music and watching sports.
Michael is survived by his parents; daughter: Amanda Follen; brother: Raymond Follen; girlfriend: Wendy Foth; cousins, aunts, uncles, and the countless friends and lives Michael has touched throughout his life.
