It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Michael Kelly, age 63 years, of Plymouth (Manomet) on December 15, 2020. He was the cherished husband of Jane (Owens) Kelly, and the son of the late Patricia (Gillen) Kelly. Born on February 26, 1957 in Somerville, Michael worked as a union painter for Local #35 in Boston. Michael was known as a man who was always willing to help anyone, family, friends and perfect strangers. He had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed playing darts in the area, especially at his Friday night dart parties. He was an avid New England Patriot’s fan and a big Bob Seger fan. He also loved to fish out on Long Beach in Plymouth and his favorite thing was to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He never missed his grandsons’ football or soccer games. “Mike, I am grateful for every day, year and moment with you. You will be in my thoughts and heart forever. Love, Jane.”Besides being the husband of 29 years to Jane, Michael was the caring dad of Paul Peoples and Jennifer Peoples. He also leaves his grandchildren Jordan Murphy, Max, Kyle and Raiden Sepulveda, Matilda, Madeline and Adam Peoples, great grandchildren, Brennan and Sadie, brother Stephen Kelly and his wife Susan, and nieces Kathleen and James Newton and Meaghan Kelly.
