Michael Joseph Woschitz, 25, former Anderson resident, died May 8, 2009 at his residence in Indianapolis. He was born March 2, 1984 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Michael graduated from Anderson High School in 2002, and from Indiana University in 2008.

He was currently pursuing graduate studies at IUPUI. Michael was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson, Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, and Indiana University Alumni Association. Michael had numerous hobbies and interests. He loved baseball and was a three year letter winner at Anderson High School 2000-2002.

His senior year, he was chosen for the 1st team All-North Central Conference Baseball 2002 and received the AHS Carl Erskine Award for 2002. He loved the game of golf, fishing, riding bikes, music and movies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially at home, spring breaks in Siesta Key, Florida and summers at Lake Webster.

Michael packed a lot of living into 25 years. The Christmas season with his family was most dear to him. Michael leaves to cherish his parents, Joseph and Michelle Woschitz; beloved brother, Ryan Woschitz; and beloved sister, Brittany Woschitz.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Rachel Akpotu and his little buddy, Peanut. Michael loved his family and leaves behind his Grandparents, Frank & Patsy Woschitz, Aunt and Uncle Janet & Brian Dunn, their three children, Meghan, Olivia, and Patrick, Uncle David Woschitz, Aunt Debbie Woschitz and their children, Eric and Marissa.

Other survivors include Great Uncle and Aunt Robert and Janice Woschitz and their sons and families Karl wife, Amy Woschitz; Dan wife, Patty Woschitz and their children, Luke and Jill. Great Uncles Ross Wife, Vanetia Collins, and Nick and Jim Collins son Jimmy. Great Uncle B.A. Broderick, Uncle Gary and Aunt Sharon Edwards; Cousins Michael wife, Michelle and children, Jackson, Lexi and Lila Edwards, and Brian wife, Kate Edwards. Aunt Bonnie husband Lee Miller and their children; Aunt Barbara Hutton. Special friends, Leanne and Angelo Dellapenna.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: George and Martha Hutton.
