Michael Jones Lewis, 49, of Morehead, KY lost his valiant battle with cancer Saturday, July 2, 2016.
He graduated from Rowan County High School and received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Morehead State University. He was a proud paramedic for Bath County and an ICU nurse at St Claire. They were jobs and people he cherished and hoped one day to return.
Mike was born December 6, 1966, in Lexington, KY to Alta Lewis Blair of Morehead and the late John Lewis. He is survived by his brother, Steve Lewis and his wife Sherry of Cincinnati, OH and their children Sydney and Savannah; his stepfather, Dr. Don Blair; stepsisters, Jennifer Anderson and Lisa Banks; and stepbrother, Judge Don Blair II. He also had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He loved life, his friends who helped with his difficult journey and his beloved dogs.
