Michael was born July 26, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas, he passed away Monday, November 30, 2009, in Boerne, Texas. He was the son of John Ellis Haffner and Helen Gelineau. Michael worked for LCRA and covered the Comfort District for 26 years. Leroy Bohnert helped him to start his career with LCRA where he met and touched the lives of many friends and family. Michael became a member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Swine Committee with the help of Billy and Lynette Gass where he helped many young people. Michael Haffner is survived by wife Linda Haffner, son Craig Haffner, daughter Brittany Noble, step children Matthew and Jacquelyn Housley. His mother; Helen Vadnais and brothers; Robert, Jimmy (wife Toni) Thomas, Steven (wife JoAnna), Ron (wife Amy) and Fred Haffner. Nephews; Eric, Zach, Mason, Devon and Brandon Haffner, one niece; Taylor and granddaughters, Presley Noble and Morgan Housley.
