Michael J. Johnson, 60, formerly of Fountain Hill, died Saturday, October 10, 2015, at ReMed Recovery Care in Paoli, where he has been a resident for the past 25 years. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Gervase Johnson and Jane (Ryan) Johnson of Fountain Hill. Michael graduated from St. Ursula Grade School, and later Liberty High School, where he attended Vo-Tech and learned horticulture. He worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., as a crane operator. He was a former member of St. Ursula’s Catholic Church. Michael enjoyed good conversation, and good music, including the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and the Eagles. Survivors: In addition to his loving mother Jane; sisters Patricia Johnson Ampietro (Nick) of Allentown, Loretta Wood (Peter) of Bethlehem; brothers Dave Johnson (Donna) of Fountain Hill, Gerald Johnson (Linda) of Lake City, Colo. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews.
