Passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center. Age 52. Michael was born in Kalamazoo on July 30, 1964. He was employed as a mechanic by Wilson Air Equipment. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening.
He is survived by his loving fiancé and companion, Kathleen Dalman; his mother, Effie Wilma Hill; two sons, Chad A. Lang and Dustin J. (Sara) Gettig; step-daughter, Kristina Johnson; six grandchildren, Charles, Sereniti, Dominick, Shawn, Destiny and Tristian; and four sisters, Mary Beth (Steve) Gardner, Patience “Patty” Leigh Ruggio, Jeanine Lynn Roberts and Brenda Kay Councell. Michael was preceded in death by his father, William James Hill Jr.; and his brother-in-law, Craig Councell.
