Michael J. Miele, 86, of Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Monday October 9, 2017 at his home. Michael proudly served his country in US Marine Corp as a Corporal during the Korean War.
He worked as a truck driver for family business Miele Motors in Jersey City. Michael was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus #3639 in Iselin, NJ. He enjoyed playing darts and bocce and was a member of the Men’s Club in HC Carefree. Michael also loved woodworking and making his family laugh.
Michael is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Antoinette Miele; his son Michael N. Miele and his siblings Val Miele and Mary Klopman. Surviving is his wife Eileen Miele of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; his children, Ken Miele, and his wife, Diane, of Hazlet, NJ, Debra Pomerleau and her husband, Daniel, of Long Branch, NJ and daughter-in-law, Beverly Miele; his siblings Joseph V. Miele of Florida, Nicholas Miele of Holmdel, NJ and Philomena Testa of Georgia; his six grandchildren Christopher, Vincent, Daniel, Jennifer, Melissa and Michelle and his great granddaughter Emma.
