MERIDEN – Michael J. Hutnik, 93, departed this life on February 8, 2016 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was the loving husband of Helen (Szyszlo) Hutnik.
He was born in Southington on November 14, 1922. He graduated from Louis High School in 1940 and earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He participated in the V-7 training program which transferred to the V012 college training program.
