Michael Jay Anderson was born August 19, 1952 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Mary Briles Anderson, Michael was the middle child of seven children.
Michael worked as a newspaper carrier for the Des Moines Register from age ten to sixteen, then as a doorman for the Ritz Theater and later as the Manager of the Ritz for eight years. Michael would then take a position with the Lucas County Law center as a dispatcher for over 29 years. Retiring in 2002 due to health issues. During that time, he was also a member of the Police Reserves.
Michael was saved and came to know and love the Lord in October 2000, one month after the death of his mother. Michael was a kind, loving person touching the lives of many in numerous ways during his life.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, brother Roger Druliner and bother Steven Anderson. Michael leaves behind sister Mary Ann Wells of Leon, Iowa, brother Oliver E.
