Passed away peacefully at age 68 on March 15, 2012. Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Ann, sons Don, Andrew, Joseph, Christopher, and daughter Lisa; as well as his brother Peter, his sister Mary, his mother Kathleen, and his nine grandchildren. Mike was born in Oak Park, Illinois on August 26, 1943 to Kathleen Weimer and Howard Heckel and was married to Ann Marie Almeyda on June 18, 1966.
