Michael R. Gutrick, age 82, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband of 57 years to the late Kuniko Takabayashi Gutrick, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Golden Hill HCC. Born on August 31, 1928 in Hartford, he was the son of the late Stanley and Pauline Auburn Gutrick. Michael served with pride and honor in the US Army during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed, talented and dedicated photographer for over 40 years for Gutrick of Milford serving many Milford residents during the course of his career.
Michael is survived by his cherished children, Tinka Gutrick Dailey (Dannul) of Seattle, WA and John A. Gutrick of Milford, three grandchildren, Quinn, Shea and AJA Dailey and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Michael.
