A native of Sones Chapel Community, MS, he was a Captain with the Picayune Fire Department. Mike was a member of Sones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to fish and spending time with his family and friends. Mike will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Lloyd Amacker and Josephine Lumpkin to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Beverly Odom Amacker; his children, Glenn (Sonnet) Amacker, Stacy Amacker; his step children, Dona Spiers, Misti (Rory) Secodine, and Brianna (Bucky) Freeman; 2 grandchildren; his brother and sister, Ronnie (Monica) Amacker, and Melba (Russell) Elkins; and several nieces and nephews.
