Michael Galante, 62, of Hazlet, New Jersey, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at his home. Michael was born on July 9th, 1958 in Staten Island, New York where he grew up in the Dongan Hills area. On August 28, 1987, Michael and his beloved wife, Laura, were married and began their life together. Shortly after, in 1994 they settled in Hazlet, where they raised their son, Joseph. Michael was an IT Project Manager for Cognizant, in Bridgewater. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Michael Galante, and his wife Beverly, and his mother Anna Marie Neglia Galante. Michael is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 33 years, Laura C. (Abatemarco) Galante, his loving son, Joseph Michael Galante of Hazlet, his sisters Maryann Armine, and her husband Russell, of Toms River, and Kim Doran, and her husband Jim, of Bridgewater, his dear brother-in-laws, Vince Abatemarco and his wife, Sandy, Michael Abatemarco, and his wife Eileen, his sister-in-law Rosalie Samat, and her husband Yaz. Michael was also a cherished Uncle and Great Uncle, and will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.
