Michael G. Haggard, 92, Anderson, died January 13, 2007 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after extended illness. He was born April 16, 1914 in Martinsville, IN, and resided in Anderson, IN. Retired in 1977 from Fisher Guide after 34 years of service in the polishing and buffing department.
He worked for Fairview Dairy for 10 years after moving to Anderson in 1936. He was a member of the UAW #663. Michael and Doris enjoyed every year of their long marriage as well as travelling to Tamarac Lake.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Countryside Manor for all their care and support. He is survived by his Daughters: Shirley Haggard-Simpson of Greenwood, IN and Janice Haggard-Low of Pendleton.
Eight Grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews. He was preceded by his Wife whom he married Dec. 3, 1935 in Lebanon, IN, Doris Secrest Haggard on June 9, 2004.
Parents: George Michael and Nellie Fultz Haggard. Brother: Irvin Haggard and Sisters: Goldie Thompson and Bertha Tanner.
